About Freebie Websites

If you’re not familiar with freebie websites, then you’ve found the right place! Freebie websites have become quite popular lately, and people everywhere are getting freebies worth hundreds, even thousands of dollars! Common freebies include video game consoles like Nintendo Wii or  XBox 360, plasma TV's, laptop computers, and ipods. Some freebie websites even allow custom ordering your prize or accepting a cash alternative. Most freebie sites ask that people sign up for their free account and then complete an offer at one of their affiliates’ websites, where they can either make a purchase or sign up for free trials or services. Most of these free offer websites simply require that members simply sign up for a single offer and have refferals or friends sign up, completing the same process. You'll receive credits, and when you've earned enough credits for your freebie, simply redeem your points, and they'll send the free item. Checking your freebie offer status is easy because legitimate freebie websites use advanced tracking methods, recording all clicks under your profile. While all freebie websites have their own unique rules, they often follow similar guidelines that prevent them from being abused.

Here are some general rules most freebie websites follow:

Account Types: Points vs. Referral-Based
With points based accounts, members complete offers (sometimes free offers), earning points for each completion, until they reach the cost (in points) of their selected item. With this account type, there's usually no limit on how many freebies someone can receive. With referral-based accounts, you're normally asked to complete one offer, then refer as many friends as the freebie promotion requires.

Only One Account per Address/Household/Computer
Freebie websites take extreme measures to protect themselves from abuse. Never create multiple accounts, apply for offers more than once, or refer yourself. Chances are, you’ll get caught, plus your account will get suspended. There are plenty freebie websites out there, so once you’re done with one, move onto more. Some websites encourage visiting their "sister sites" which are set up similarly, just with different freebies.

Don’t Expect Something for Nothing
Even though these freebie sites do give away legitimate free merchandise, it does take effort getting referrals. Some people may find it works sending their friends emails, informing them that they can easily get free gifts. In addition, there are requirements that need to be met in order for referrals to be considered complete. After registering, you'll see all available offers with their requirements. Some offers are free trials that'll eventually charge your credit card. The requirement may be that you only keep this service for a specific time frame. In many cases, you can simply cancel the service before being charged, while still keeping credit. There are many reputable affiliate companies listed on these websites. Blockbuster, Vista Print, and magazine subscriptions are just a few. I would suggest sticking with familiar affiliates to play it safe. Also check with Better Business Bureau if you’re considering completing an offer with an unknown business. I encourage participants keep a spreadsheet or simple log of all your freebie offers and details if you decide to do more than one. Lastly, and most important - read all privacy policy links, terms of service or anything similar. If you don’t read website terms, you may be consenting to additional future charges. Many people feel that they get scammed because they didn’t know they should cancel their service until getting charged. Read everything carefully, then you can’t go wrong.
